3-way Floor Standing Loudspeaker
The LAT-1 is the flagship of the Loosless Acoustic Transducer (LAT) Series of loudspeakers. The LAT-1 is a full-range, floor-standing 3-way loudspeaker that features the Krell Lossless Enclosure Design.
Instead of the more common wood or wood byproducts that are used most speakers, the LAT-1 is fashioned from extruded aluminum. This extruded aluminum enclosure eliminates vibrations that a wood cabinet introduces into the music.
The result is stunning clarity and unmatched dynamics presented in an elegant black or silver diamond cut finish.
The driver complement includes three 8-inch custom built woofers mated with a pair of 5.25" midranges and a 1" tweeter. The drivers are fed signals from individual amplifier-grade crossover elements that precisely divide the musical information. Completing the design are custom-machined gold plated binding posts for maximum signal transfer and articulating spiked feet that allow precise leveling for the best image presentation.
The end result is a stylish design that brings to life the full emotional impact present in today's demanding music and movie programs.
