Absolute sounds is pleased to announce that on 19^th of June  between 12PM and 8PM we will be holding Devialet open day at Oxford Audio.

You will be able to see all three new Devialet models: Devialet 110, Devialet 170 and Devialet 240.

We will be honoured by presence of very special guest Mathieu Pernot- research and development engineer of Davialet.

Absolute sounds is pleased to announce that on 16^th and 17^th of March  between 6PM and 9PM, together with Classic Album Sundays we will celebrate the 40^th Anniversary of Pink Floyds “The Dark Side of the Moon”.

The Old Vinyl Factory is the site of the former EMI pressing plant,  where the first copies of seminal Pink Floyd album rolled of the presses in March 1973. Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy of Classic Album Sundays will host the event, with guest speakers providing a unique insight and perspective on the record and its production. And then the star attraction – the album itself – will receive an uninterrupted vinyl playback  on an awesome sound system carefully matched by Absolute Sounds  for the event, DJ Colleen will be playing a virgin copy of this legendary album and we feel confident enough that this will be a unique sonic trip.

In addition to this unique event on an historic location, there will be an opportunity for guests to view a new exhibition on the site where EMI, the Gramophone Company and labels such as His Master’s Voice were founded during its 90 years of recording history.
