DESCRIPTION :


JA 200 An aesthetic look of parallels and diagonals. The JA 200 amplifier reveals a perfection of lines and its two blocks per channel respond to an unusual symmetry of forms and colours. When the eye follows the opposite diagonal, it is caught first of all by the black shape of the output transformer, then by that of the capacitors at the rear end of the other block. Black on black, chrome on chrome, these two blocks make up an indivisible visual whole. This amplifier is made up of four blocks.

Each channel has a power supply chassis and an amplification chassis made up of three input tubes and ten 6550 power tubes in a quintuple push-pull configuration. We decide to replace the KT 88 that we had used initially with 6550 tubes, which are far more reliable and extremely musical, and which are also readily available. An ECC 82 double tridoe is mounted in a Schmitt dephaser to receive the input signal is mounted at the driver stage in balanced mode with the direct and crossed reaction networks, which attack the 6550 quintuple push-pull.

The output transformer that we produce ourselves is pefectly balanced. The JA 200 is the only amplifier in the world to use a distributed triple charge.
