The Statement Stereo represents a breathtaking evolution, joining extraordinary modern engineering with the legendary musicality of traditionally designed amplifiers. Thanks to our new Constellation Switched-Mode Power Supply (C-SMPS) with Power Factor Correction (PFC), the Statement Stereo delivers every bit of performance our engineers designed into it, regardless of the speaker or your country’s AC power standard.
The Statement Stereo delivers 850 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 1600w into 4 ohms, and rises to 3000 watts. This doubles into 4 ohms and rises to 3000 watts when the amplifier is bridged, although in these cases, the output will be determined by your AC power, not by the amplifier. Achieving these impressive results was possible only because with C-SMPS and PFC, we knew the Statement Stereo’s 96 output transistors (48 per channel} would have a stable, quiet supply of DC power, no matter where the amplifier was installed.
Getting the input stage of an amplifier right is absolutely critical because it affects everything that comes after it. That’s why our engineers gave the Statement Stereo a fully balanced, mirror-imaged input stage with paralleled amplification modules for 5 dB lower noise, fed by a three-stage, fully regulated power supply that further reduces noise.
PFC provides perfectly stable, 380-volt power at any AC voltage standard, with the voltage and current always in phase, no matter the speaker’s load. Our ultra-quiet C-SMPS technology reduces power-supply noise by more than 20 dB. Our power supply automatically optimizes itself for any speaker and AC power standard.
