The Philips CDM 12 Pro 2 metal chassis was significantly customized by Métronome, providing a stable and highly
reliable basis to capture the signal with most accuracy.
The Delrin clamp and proprietary shaft designed by Métronome allows a great compact disk stability. Subsequent
lecture results in the best possible reproduction of sound with a low jitter.
Continuous ground link from the disk surface to the electrical earth gives excellent dissipation of static electricity for
better working conditions of the electronics and the optical components.
The power supply is made of individual power transformers and completely independent regulation lines for each
critical part of the transport : display, servo mechanism, motor, digital output stage. This provides an inter-stage
EMI/RFI radiation protection and insures a dynamic analog-like sound quality.
