The Argo employs the best of Constellation Audio’s revolutionary audio technology. It starts with the Line Stage Gain Module circuitry used in the Altair II and Virgo II preamps, which uses hand-selected field-effect transistors (FETs) and servo circuits to achieve an essentially perfect balance between the positive and negative halves of the audio signal.The amplifier section features the balanced bridged modular concept used in the Hercules II and Centaur amplifier, with a unique configuration that achieves Class AB- type dynamics and power using single-ended circuits. The sum of these stellar parts is a 125-watt-per-channel integrated amplifier that delivers the musicality of Constellation Audio’s larger components, yet is surprisingly compact.
